Grady’s son sold the property to developers who envisioned creating a residential subdivision. Paved roads and streetlights were installed, but the economic downturn in 2008 kept the subdivision from becoming a reality. The property was purchased by the William Heafner family in 2012. The Heafners made numerous improvements to use the property as a working farm.

Heafner Farms is owned and operated by William and Debbie Heafner. Willie and Debbie have lived in the Crouse area most of their lives. They have owned and operated numerous businesses in the Carolinas including residential and commercial construction, insurance, real estate and appraisal services spanning over 35 years.

Their son, Luke, works with farm operations and is the Chief Operating Officer for Lincoln County Club. He and his wife, Allyson, reside in Crouse.

Their son, Logan, works with farm operations and property maintenance.

The Heafners look forward to providing you with a beautiful location for your event.
